Our History
St. Matthews Marathi Church was established in Pune with a vision to nurture Marathi-speaking Christians in worship and community life. Over the decades, our congregation has grown from a small gathering of faithful families into a vibrant church that serves people across Pune and surrounding areas. Through seasons of change and growth, we have remained committed to proclaiming the Gospel, preserving our Marathi heritage in worship, and extending Christ's love to our neighbors.
Our Mission
To glorify God through worship in the Marathi language, to nurture believers in faith and discipleship, and to serve our city with humility, generosity, and the message of the Gospel.
Church Overview
St. Matthews Marathi Church is an evangelical congregation affiliated with the Church of North India tradition. We welcome families, youth, and individuals from all backgrounds to join us in worship, prayer, and service. Our ministries include Sunday school, youth fellowship, women's fellowship, and community outreach programs.
